I really, truely believe that the best of us (humans) will never be as noble, or loyal as the worst of them (dogs). Which makes me a little sad. And is also why I like my dogs much more than most people I know.

dogs are honest, even if they do something sneaky, their honest nature gives them away.
With even a mean dog, you know what they're about right away.
Human society punishes honesty and selflessness.

You know....there's a whole list of humans I can think of that deserve what that poor Pug and all the others like him got

and I know I could easily take a Dremel drill with a bunch of good attachments and make those folks die slow and ugly

and still get a great night's sleep with my soul intact when I was done

At some level I have to think or believe that that poor pup didn't die in vain...

that maybe that awful event and the news of it, tipped a whole bunch of people in favor

of going ahead and rescuing a dog or a cat rather than hurting one

and maybe opening their hearts up to all the joy inconvenience and pain

that our best friends can offer

somewhere out there that little guy's pain and torment

had to have bought a lot of other pets a second chance........

I hope and pray that the bastard that did this gets found by people in the neighborhood.
Then they can proceed to break every bone in his body one at a time with a hammer.
Then after a few days of suffering they torture him to death.
There is no end to my hatred for people like this.
And there is no act of cruelty that is severe enough to punish them for their actions.

When our society lets acts like this go unpunished it's time to shut out the light and give the planet back to the cockroaches.
I can only hope that the Mayans were right about 2012...

I think this is horrible and horrendous but agree, may be people will open up and help some helpless pets...

Sometimes humans are horrible and should be punished. I look at my 3 boys or any animal and have no idea, no understanding how someone can torture let alone harm or mistreat them. This makes me sad and angry but maybe someones heart will be softened and will care or think about or actually help others... At least that is my hope!

There has to be clues or leads, someone doesn't just do this with out practice, or trying it before...there has to be some kind of trail, no? If they can do this it will only get more horrific.

Some folks are just make the beast with two backsing aweful. And honestly they probably don't even know why. So how are we supposed to figure out their twisted thoughts and actions?

But I do agree (and hope) that this horrible, senseless act will turn some folks to the side of good and caring. It's nice to fight fire with fire but sometimes it's nice to go the other way. Hard for me to say given my nature. But still worth saying.
