I know there was a hoop but it looked like his head held the car up while it was skidding to a halt ;D

Hoop or no, it was a fortunate thing that when the car did that extended skateboard grind along the concrete barrier that it was on the nose of the car instead of a couple feet back at the cowling!  :o
