I wanted to introduce my self! My coworker told me about this forum so I thought I would check it out as of 30 Jun 12 I am a new owner of a MY12 Diamond Black 796. This is my first Bike and my first ducati . As of today I have 172 miles on her and and loving it. I have been following the dealer's guidance of not taking the rev's over 5K for the 1st 200 miles well for the most part then I can take it to 5500 for another 200. Oregon has a Basic Rider's Course called "team Oregon BRT" it was awesome course ! now I'm hooked and am applying what I learned to the road. I had no clue what motorcyclist went through out there, cars do not pay attention. This forum seems packed full of great info on everything ducati and I'm going to take full advantage.

If anyone out there makes it to Oregon you will be loving life because there are to many micro brews to name or try  and of course the tasty voodoo doughnuts in portland.
