Hey all!  I'm new to the world of Ducati and motorcycles (at least on the road).  I've got quite a few years of experience on dirt bikes but haven't done any riding on the road.  I bought a 2005 Monster 620 with only 3600 miles on it back in May but haven't been able to get into a MSF class until August.  So I haven't ridden it much yet until I take the course.  I bought a helmet, jacket, gloves, and pants.  I'll buy boots soon.  Anything I should be looking at as far as maintenance items?

Welcome.

You should look into timing belts. If yours are original they've 'timed out'.

Tires also have a life besides tread life.

If those are original they should also be replaced.

Whereabouts in NH?

Ok, I'll have the timing belts looked at and replaced if needed.  I was in the the Portsmouth area for a bit but will be away for a while.
