Most of you guys have never set foot in a real boxing gym. That guy is tame compared to some guys I've seen. I went to one gym where they put guys that looked like those in the video in the ring the first day. They didn't kill them, but most didn't come back the next day. Some people just should never be in a ring.

I have to give props to the "Wall Street" guys for stepping outside of their comfort zone.  At least they have the balls to try something new, particularly in such a shit environment.  And even if they suck, at least they are trying. But I wouldn't pay money for a coach like that, don't know why these guys do.  I used to box and found it exhilarating as well as the most intense workout I'd ever had.  Never intended to compete, was just good fun and exercise.

in case some of you guys dotn know, church st boxing is a big name on the east coast. they are on the level of gleasons gym. they train alot of muay thai guys and mma guys for the local amateur events.

you dont walk into a dive bar for a glass of wine. there are plenty other places they can go to get a work out if they are looking for that. you go to places like church st to learn how to fight.

alot of times, you can tell if a guy has heart or not through body language. Even if you dont know how to throw a punch, if you work hard and put in the effort to try atleast you might get made fun of, but they know you've got some balls in you.

Those guys were just sorry asses.

Agreed, but did you do it so that you could go around and say "I'm not a gym rat! I train in a boxing gym"? For that, go to your local Bally's and take a "kickboxing" class.

10-4! Not saying that everyone there was a sorry ass, just the guys that they show on the video. Again, not saying that I would be any more of a badass than them, but if you show up at a real martial arts gym/dojo/whatever, expect to be treated like that until you show some heart and for the love of God try to learn something while you're there.
