Paint code help?

Anyone ever figure out the Ducati paint codes?  The PPG numbers going around don't transfer to anything because the euro system is different.  I know about the color rite stuff, but it is $137 a pint which is about 3x what it should cost to have it mixed.  It doesn't have to be a perfect match since I  am painting the whole bike and it is a custom, but I don't want it to look "off" to the naked eye.  I also don't have anything the proper color to read with the camera.  Thanks!

If your local jobber doesn't have access to PPG Global...

Take the pieces to the paint shop and have them scanned.

FYI...paint is typically $100/pint.
