Detailed installation instructions:

With Windshield on -
1. remove the 4 black screws (2 on each side of the instrument display) - the windshield and body colored fairing will come off.

2. remove the black brackets on each side of the instrument panel.  4 hex bolts.

3. turn the handlebars as far as you can in each direction and take of the nuts (10mm) on each side of the bottom of the headlight.  this nut is slightly above the bottom fork clamps and has a rubber boot around the screw from the headlight.

4. lift the headlight out of the two support holes at the top of the headlight.  make sure the rubber gaskets stay in the support holes.

5. lay the headlight on its face.  i put a towel on my front fender to lay it on.

6. remover the screws on the back of the headlight to expose the bulbs.  pull the power from the lights.

7. the high and low beams have a tension clip holding them in.  squeeze them and push down to release the hold.  pull the lights out.

8. the parking light needs a push down and twist to disengage the bulb.

WITHOUT THE WINDSHIELD - START AT STEP 4
