Hi guys,

I searched a couple of forums and it seems the only sliders installation tutorial I can find are for the frame sliders? No Tutorial video / pictures for the axle sliders anywhere? ???
I'm asking because my speedymoto rear axle slider kit came without any instructions. I'm just worried about screwing up since the weight of the bike is on the front and back wheels axles.

Any input would be appreciated.

I don't have them,
but what I know of them
two sliders, one bar, 2 nuts right?

nut --- slider ----bar----slider----nut

Yeah, it doesn't seem that difficult but I was just wondering if there is any trick to relieving the weight from the axle to freely slide the bolt in or if you need to loosen the tension of the chain for the rear axle.
I wouldn't want to screw up something while doing this.

Edit:
I just found 2 videos on youtube for axle sliders (front and back). They are for the HyperMotard but I guess the technique would be the same.

Well shit. After watching the videos it seems that I didn't understood how the shafts for the forks worked. It seems they are hollow?
I tought there was a bolt that needed to be swapped, like the frame sliders. My bad. Sorry for asking a stupid question.  [bang]

Yep - you have to go back to 2000 maybe 2001 to get a solid rear axle.

I was wondering where you were going with relieving and chain tension... Glad you got it sorted. Those sliders are a simple item as you've found.
-Throttle's on the right, so are the brakes.  Good luck.

axle sliders...dont really work for monsters i think. in the rare occasion they get used, youve got bigger problems.

i think they might work on high mounts, but for low mounts ur cans will take the hit before ur axle does.
