You could also Mop n Glo your pips (makes them dark though) or transmission fluid which brings out golden colors.

Yesterday's weather rocked and todays weather sucked.  Mother Nature is a cruel pregnant dog.  Worked on the bike more: Bled and installed new Ducabike slave cylinder (improved clutch pull), a 39T rear sprocket, frame slider, scrubbed pipes again.  Now just waiting on painted tank from DP and she should be ready to go.

what did you use to scrub your pipes (this doesnt sound good....LOL!!)   Steel wool, fine grit sandpaper??

Used some 220 grit and WD-40.  Had to use some Goo Gone on the S part to remove melted rubber from from My Sidi's.

Once the tank arrives I'll post new pictures.....IT will all come together with the tank.  Really excited about that.

Now, I hope swapping tanks is as easy as it was on my S2R...Drain gas, unscrew fuel filter,drop in new tank plug and go.  Somehow I feel like that's not the case.
