So here's the problem, she doesn't feel like she's mine.  Maybe I was spoiled by the awesomeness of the sh1t hot black triple 9 xerox, but I'm left with a feeling that the awesome bike I'm now riding is somehow ordinary.  I need suggestions to tart her up a bit, to add my own stamp to her legacy,  but I've no real idea where to start.  The undeserving bastard that had her before me ( don't actually know him, just assuming ), has already added the ducati equivalent of a catholic school girl uniform to her:  red billet aluminium sprocket cover, rizoma grips, f*cking carbon everywhere, including around the damn radiator and both mudguard and front fender.  I have the clutch cover to play with, but I don't think that will be enough.  Any ideas?  Maybe paint up a corse tank?  Hook a brother up....

Svoloch sounds evil, so I'd go with the diablo/black/carbon theme. [evil]
Black clutch cover, black tank and front and rear bodywork. Or carbon versions. You're dead right about the clutch cover, it looks out of place. You could paint satin black.

Two words: Powder Coating

In your case, gloss black powder coated wheels.  I asked AMS do this to my 36,000 mile silver-ish 999 wheels the last time they replaced my tires.  Changed the look entirely and was "relatively" cheap; $160 per rim.  Can't think of much that Rizoma or DP make for $320 that'll give you as much bang for the buck....

Dax, I'll record it.  You can't touch it with that sound...  I don't like the slash cut either...

Paint & hide the belly pan. Or remove it.

Rizoma small heel guard to replace the LARGE stock heat guard

Larger air intake, painted

Partially open belt covers (cutting carbon is easy to do)

Mirrors of course

TechSpec tank pads

Round head light

Red stripe or two on the front fender

I like the belly pan.  I'm down with the others.  My tools don't get here for awhile, where is your garage, and what kind of beer is in your fridge?  I need to go to the Rizoma store.

Don't have a garage, but if you bring your bike here I WILL find one AND I will buy the beer  [thumbsup]

I mean as in a GP style exhaust.  clean up that rear wheel, I hate how Ducati covers it up.
I agree with dropping the belly pan it makes it look like a real street fighter without.

The fact that flame throwers exist is proof that someone somewhere said "I'd sure like to set those people over there on fire but I'm just not close enough to get the job done."

CONFIDENCE: the feeling you have right before you understand the situation.

I love the Streetfighter S.. I looks much better in person IMO.

If it were me I would carbon it out from head to toewhile adding rearsets, bars, wheels, steering damper, turn signals, fluid reservoirs, levers. Good luck with and have fun. Congrats on the new ride.  [thumbsup]

It's hard to tell from the photo, but it's already carboned head to toe.  The S model that I have came with steering damper, and the former owner shortened the turn signals and tail chopped.  Thanks for the congrats!

At this point, I think I'm looking at reservoirs, mirrors, and brake/clutch lever, plus the requisite clutch plate/cover ( not sure why the former owner didn't do that?  Maybe he wasn't a dry clutch lover.. ).  Beyond that, I'm thinking of paint or decals....
