  I test rode a Speed Triple today and absolutely loved it!.  [moto] I am in the market for second bike and this may be it, with a 748 as a back up choice.  Am I setting my self up for failure here?   Are the Speed Triple and the Monster too similar?  Will I want sell one in a year?

ive got a 2006 speed triple i bought new,
and a s4rs i bought in march new.
youll keep them both, and youll LOVE the triple...!!!
amazing torque curve, flat from 4000 to 10,000 rpms, pulls like a freight train on the topend...
enjoy...!!!

I agree; PULL THAT TRIGGER!  I know it is a totally different bike, but I picked up a D675 back in April to augment my S2R.  Since then the S2R has been relegated to commuting duty and the 675 is my weekend bike.  The triple is an amazing motor, and I can only imagine that the 1050cc one would just be BAD ASS!
