My name is Kathryn, I’m 26 and I’m live in southern California. I have been riding for about 5 years and I just got a 2006 Ducati Monster S2r 11 days ago (but who is counting). Before the duc I had a 2008 Kawi 650r (my first bike) and then a 2005 Kawi 636.  I also have an old Honda trail 90 but it is in pieces in the garage...

Though we are still getting to know each other (only 2 tanks in), I love the duc more than any other bike I’ve had. It’s the perfect size and it rips through traffic like no ones business!   [Dolph]

Welcome and enjoy, of course [thumbsup]

Welcome - Lots of So Cal folks on here and some top notch shops as well.

So my usual used Duc comment - if you're unsure find out post haste the age of the belts on your bike. They are a 2 year or 12k replacement item - whichever comes first. A lot of lower milage used Ducs have not seen new belts and are well over due on age. A lost cam belt is bad bad bad.

BTW- which flavor of the S2R? 800 or 1000?
-Throttle's on the right, so are the brakes.  Good luck.
