Motards are way too much fun and make a great 2nd or 3rd bike but not a daily rider or long distance machine.  I've got an 08 Ape SXV 5.5 75hp 280 lbs. Only downside is it's basically a race bike with lights so it's needy maintenance wise.  Begs you to ride like a complete ass on the streets and is crazy fun on the track.

*Cough*...*choke* BS! Ive got over 30K on mine (ktm 690) commuting and long distance touring, not to mention some good off roading on street tires, and i'm about to head to South America for a 40K mile loop.
