I like to weave bacon like a basket and put it in the oven, it is perfect to put on sammiches and burgers cuz it stays in place with every bite of velvetty goodness!
I wanna ride... take me to your track!

I'm there in two weeks.  You will have to prove it.
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

May bacon of the month arrived just in time for mother's day brunch tomorrow.

we got some bacon chocolate the other day.  Same company that makes the hot pepper chocolate I like.   The bacon chocolate was surprisingly good (it's almost like bacon bits in the bar).
It's still buy a flounder a drink month

Let's do the lookup for the hookup.  I'm always game for a Saloon Burger- and the tap is decent too!  email is c_rex@hotmail.com.  Also- it's just down the road about a 1/2 mile from Ducati Seattle if you have any interest in seeing one of Seattle's premier cycle shops.   ;)

I might have to get in on that.

We might actually be down there in a few hours today (5/10) to Ducati Seattle for the free dyno day (plus boobies)..so..lunch at this place might be on!

I've got to take RandimusMaximus and Stella somewhere while they're here this weekend since it's raining now..no hiking!!   :(

Thanks for the invite bastage!   ;D  Either ask the guys there for directions. Basically you just follow Westlake toward Freemont and when you get to Nickerson the Nickerson Saloon is on the corner (where the bridge is).

For a quick hike you can check out Discovery Park which isn't too far from there.  Not a full on workout but a decent way to walk off a burger and a couple of beers.

Bon apetit compadres!

Bacon Hot Dog Nachos

You'll need:
1 bag decent tortilla chips (blue corn work great)
1 8oz bag shredded cheese (your preference - I go with a "Mexican" or "Fiesta" blend)
1 can nacho cheese
1 can re-fried beans (substiute black beans or pintos)
1 bottle pico de gallo
1/4 cup chopped green onion
4-6 strips maple bacon, crisp, chopped
2 kosher hot dogs, boiled, sliced into circles

Instructions:
Y'all know how to make nachos. Throw the chips in teh bowl, throw the rest of that crap on top.  Consume with several Dos Equis.  Repeat.

I actually picked up some regular (pig) bacon tonight to make for Randimus and Stella in the morning.  I may even have some.

It was REAL bacon from a piglet!  Randimus picked it out himself at Safeway last night and fried it up this morning.

I've got CLEAR pics of the evidence and the packing!!

BTW..no eggos in the house for a few months now.  :-\
