Does anyone know if the front impulse wheel (ABS Ring) from a 796/1100 ABS model will work with a 696 ABS model? I am aware the bolt pattern is different, I would be using a 5 bolt wheel.  :D

Thanks!

Well, I know it will physically fit the wheel. I am actually wanting to make sure the sensor reads it the same way. Other then the bolt pattern, they look exactly the same. I doubt the bolt pattern would affect this, just trying to be sure.  [thumbsup]

the sensor reads the 'slats' if they are the same amount, should be the same

Different part numbers.
i haven't looked but if they use the brake bolts to attach that makes sense

Yes the 696 is 50410041A and uses the 6 brake bolts to attach to the wheel, the 7969/1100 is 50410051A and uses the 5 brake bolts. That is the only difference I can see with them. I can't count the slats on the diagram pictures, it gets to IZ_ on the diagram. I guess I will need to find someone with a 796/1100 ABS and see if they will count them for me :)

I found out the front and rear ABS sensors are the same for the 696/796/1100 so I got my answer! Also the ABS model use the ABS sensor for speed, which means I won't need a speedo healer since it doesn't use the bolts like the non ABS models. I just need a caliper plate from a 2011+ 796/1100  ;D
