All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.

Yeah, and be careful using the elevator.  It gets a little wet.   ;D

I would never leave the fireplace.

I hear there's about twice as much snow now as is in that picture.

Crater Lake Natl Park.

The place opens in May. After they clean up all the blood coming out of the elevators and put the axe away.

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

I have no idea, the real Overlook hotel was filmed in Canada I believe.
The lodge at Crater Lake just reminds me of the Overlook.

The exterior shots were filmed at the Timberline Lodge at Mt. Hood.

My first movie date was to see that movie. She held on tight. We joked about "red rum" for weeks. :D

Steven King was inspired by a stay at the Stanley Hotel (Estes Park, CO).  The premise was that it took place in CO.

This is closer to Mother's neck of the woods. About 4.5 hours from me. If we don't stop in Bend to try out one of the many Brewerys.  [drink]

It's not -- that was a movie set.

My neighborhood for the past 3 days has been Ometepe.  Each night at 5p I grab a beer and sit on the peer pier and just watch scenes like this.  Every sunset somehow is wholly different from every other, so it never gets old:

Do your peers get angry when you sit on them? ;D
