I was wondering into my local Duc dealer and seen a diavel carbon and was inspired to sorta mimic that on my 796. http://www.ducati.com/media_gallery/diavel_carbon/index.do

looks alot different in person than the pics.

I want to swap the front/rear fender, tank, and cowl with dry/matte carbon. Add either 2 red pinstripes following the contours or a 2" vinyl red stripe down the center. Replace the little "shield" ducati emblem with these in the stock locations  http://webhosting.web.com/imagelib/sitebuilder/misc/show_image.html?linkedwidth=560&linkpath=http://www.srsigndesign.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/Ducati/corse_gel_decals.jpg&target=tlx_picf6x1

I would also like to put the monster logo back on the tank covers but having a tough time finding them. I have a friend that can cut all the vinyl needed but if there is something out there thats already done please drop me a link. also any ideas on how to get that embossed look just like the stock tank logo?

im kinda going for a custom but stock look if that makes sense, kinda want to fool the people who dont know much about ducat to think thats how the bike comes.

im open to all ideas [thumbsup]

Your Ducati dealer will have that raised/domed tank badge/logo in brushed silver [thumbsup]

The whole carbon parts catalog is available, but think twice about how much you can replace before it gets too much - my 0.02...

Go to ducati.com, dealers and services, maintenance - there you have spare parts catalogs  [thumbsup]

or as an accessory - in last year's catalog and/or by your dealer.

I like your idea, but it rides on the 'dry/matte' carbon doesn't it?
New parts with that finish aren't easy to find, so you need to investigate how to change from gloss to matte.
