Caps in the 2nd round of a shoot out... eesh. Causin' the house here stress

Lundqvist took a hell of a shot in that game. Slap shot right to the mask - hard enough that it kocked him off his feet and that rattled him enough that he went wobbly after getting up after the initial impact. Tough mofo - kept everything out until the shoot-out even after getting blasted in the face.

The Wings are rebuilding.  And have been hamstrung with quite a few injuries.

Still in playoff contention, however.

Nasty shot Sid took.  He'll be out for a while for sure.  Good thing Shero stocked up for the playoffs.

Holy crap. That looked horrible. Can't stand "The Kid" but haate to see that happrn to anyone,  and like the announcer said even the half shield doesn't help there.

habs took a shellacking from the leafs last night. it always scares me to watch Price go cold like that, first 4 shots on net and 3 go in!!
