Replacement Part Suggestions

When I rebuilt my S2R, I bought a few parts about which I have some questions, as they broke:

cheap tail light (with integrated turn signals) similar to the following:

Like the old saying 'you get what you pay for', they have both broken and disappointed me thoroughly. 

The tail light's internal circuit literally vibrated apart (soldered points came out in several spots) and obviously ceased to function.  This happened even after I took it apart and fixed it (different points came apart each time...sigh...). 

The mirrors broke at the tightening point (where one tightens a bolt to mount them to the bar-end) and fell off (both of them did this). 

Needless to repeat, I am very disappointed in the quality of these products and am at a bit of a loss of what to do.  I'm not confident that any of the other tail lights that I've seen will be of any higher quality - even the expensive ones - as they all appear to be of the same design.  The mirrors are a different story, though I still want to avoid spending an unjustifiably large amount of money on them.

I need some wisdom here.  I know there are people who've found good products; I really need to know where to look!  If it matters for advice-giving, I am going to get round mirrors this time, and want integrated turn signals in the tail light if possible.

Cheap mirrors with flat glass vs convex?
I can't understand why anyone will sacrifice a wide view to save 50 dollars...
CRG, Rizoma, Oberon + + and a FEW ebay knock off IF they have convex glass.
