Painting a clutch plate?

If I install the pressure plate linked below, can I paint the first clutch disc that would still be visible?  I'm new to Monsters (2010 1100) and have not gone inside the clutch yet.  Can I just slip off that first plate?  If it's okay to paint, any suggestions on a quality spray paint?  Any other thoughts/advice?

Thank you in advance!

I wouldn't recommend painting.

It will just wear/burn off, and may cause slipping.

The exterior of a dry clutch pressure can be painted. Run a search and you'll find folks who have done it. Do not paint the back side.

As DP said, don't paint any of the plates that for the plate stack.
