bringing in an SR21000 from Dallas...very excited

So I found the S2R1000 I have been looking for...an 07 silver/black.  It should arrive on Tuesday.  I am having it shipped to Austin  from Dallas.  I'm super psyched.  It has 170 miles and 21ish months left on the factory warranty.  However, I didn't think I'd end up with the S2R...

I test rode both the 696 and S2R on Tuesday.  I tooled around on the 696 for about 15 miles.  It was fun to ride.  Very peppy, great breaks, etc.  However, after 15 miles my wrist was feeling the aggressive stance.  That pretty much ruled that bike out.  I guess I was a little disappointed because that was the bike I thought I would end up with.

So next up was the S2R.  I didn't get to ride it for long (maybe 2 miles), but boy was it a nice ride.  So much more torque, much better engine sound.  I think I am going to be very happy with it.

Congratulations. I really like the S2r's. I'm down here in San Antonio and am gonna have to hook up with the Austin. Group sometime again.
