How long do you sit and look at your bike after a long ride?

I took this pic while relaxing in the afternoon light after a long weekend on the road.

I've slept with my bike in an enclosed trailer before a ride. Does this count?
He man, where are all the ads?

i love bike gazing.  after they're all cleaned up and glistening, sitting in the garage
with a beer and admiring the stable.  life is good.

Yes.  Extra points if you cuddled :)

[laugh] Dont be afraid to spoon.

I like to lift the tank and sit there with a drink, looking at the components.

You know the old saying, "its a two,  three, four or five beer bike".

My next order of business after installing the elevator on my toy box was a flip down bunk, but now that you mention it, I think I will just invest in a whole mess of pillows, throw them in, and let the cuddling ensue. But first I have to think up my turntable for the lift platform so i'm not doing a 20 pt turn to get the bikes in and out. Any ideas?

Why not a platform that extends/slides? Kind of like what's on the back of a uhaul. Attach it to the elevator plaform while it's down. Roll the bike on it. Lift the elevator platform. Roll the bike on the truck. Detach the extender/slide and put it in the truck. Simple. Either that or a hinged attachment to the elevator platform itself. (end thread-jack)

I like to stare at my 620 and 748 in the garage and think about how much fun it is to ride each of them. They each have their own unique character.

I have considered that option and made a proto, but ran into some clearance issues with the lift platform. Also some crazy leverage going on. These are my babies that I am entrusting to this lift.

I absolutely love the 748. I think it was the first Ducati that I ever saw (at least once I was old enough to recognize what a Ducati was) also had 4 or 5 models of it. Damn. now I have to wipe the drool off of my desk just thinking about it.  [drool]

Stare at it?  You bet!  Btw can anyone tell me how to get KY jelly out of my exhaust pipe?   [drool]
Two things I don't do.  Keyboard bullies and hypocrites.
Feel free to PM me if needed, otherwise you will find me elsewhere.

Anything above 7000 for a few seconds should clear you right up. you've just got to work your wrist a little.  ;)

A long time!  Having my bike in the house makes it very easy and convenient to just lay next to her and snuggle.  :).  Good shot I took with my phone....Hahaha.
