It would be interesting to actually be on a jury. I'll likely never have that experience.

I was just rejected by a defense attorney last week.

i made it on one once, but the city dropped it's case against the guy during the second day of the trial.


I'd like to see one through all the way.

I was on a criminal jury. Very rewarding experience. Somewhat frustrating too. Some of the instructions made it confusing. We were ordered to only listen to how the translator stated the translation of a spanish speaking witness' statement, but even I understood spanish enough, as well as the native speakers on the jury, that the translator was incorrect in some of his translation. At the end of the day, it was a moot point, but did cause some confusion.

All in all, got to help put away a life long crim and three striker. He had been in jail for the majority of his life, since he almost beat a bunch of people to death when he was 17. He will no longer be a problem for those outside of jail.

Very interesting process, once on a jury. Certainly not boring.

I found that the most effective way to get out of jury duty is to wear your "White Flour" t-shirt.

Of course, having a last name starting with W, they never even made it to me in the selection process...it was a child pornography case and the guy was in his late 60s...pretty sure I was going to dick punch him out of principles...

If everyone with good sense gets themselves kicked off jury duty, then those people need to remember to STFU when a jury does something idiotic.

Agreed but it seemed like in the case I was in the pool for, the attorneys did not want anyone highly educated particularly scientists.
