Ive been driving a chrysler 200 around here in IL. It seems like a pretty good car. The ride is nice and smooth and there is a bit of power under the hood. Looking under the hood i see a 3.6L V6 twin cam engine with variable valve timing claimed on the engine cover.

It sits in the engine bay sideways which gives excellent access to the O2 sensors on the left or front side of the engine. The other two....not so good. Maybe from underneath the car. Im not gonna find out. The 4 cam position sensors are out in the open though and the oil filter is on top of the engine, probably something they learned from Daimler.

Try as I might I couldn't see any sign of spark plugs or coils on this engine. That stuff might be under the plastic intake manifold which appears to have dual length runners and doesn't look like it would be too difficult to remove.

Ive been driving in the rain with this car and I'm pretty sure I've tried out all of the 6 or 7 wiper delay settings. Its not as nice as automatic wipers with the rain sensor but it works.

The inside of the car had soft surfaces on the dash, door panels, steering wheel, etc. no hard plastic like some of the other Mopar vehicles I've been in. The two power outlets are on all the time which I like, instead of turning off with the key.

Its a nice driving car with a firm feel and yet quiet. I used the 6 speed manual/Automatic feature to put the pass on a couple of times. It has enough power to get the job done.

Over all I would give this car an 8 out of 10 mostly because of the engine sitting sideways and hiding some of the sensors which at some point need to be accessed.

I probably wouldn't mind owning this car if it ended up in my driveway.

Transverse motor is pretty standard in front wheel drive vehicles.... makes for a compact (if inaccessible) package.

I no much likey.

Ducati is the pretty girl that can't walk in heels without stumbling. I still love her.

Sorry Ung thats a figure of speech they use here in the states, meaning theres more than one way to do things.

I don't have much interest in cats.

So typically tranverse is what the car company's like to build for front wheel drive but ive seen them do it the right way too, such as the Chrysler 300m. Front wheel drive not mounted tranversely.

Me either.  Although if you skin 'em for me (by whatever method) I think they'd make fine winter hats  [thumbsup].

But we digress  ;).
