If any of you folks out there have a radar detector, jammer set up, do y'all mind sharing with me what kind of setup you guys have?

I already have a couple of points and I'm not really trying to earn more. I, sadly, live in the only state that is illegal to have the radar detectors to use in a vehicle. Virginia.

S it kinda have to be as discreet as possible.

They ALL have that toy. AND..., they'll ticket you whether you are doing anything naughty or not.

Find a "rabbit" and hang back at a safe distance. Hope your bike isn't RED. ;D

Interesting I always thought it was only VA an DC. When did connecticut join that list?

Anyways OP, I wouldnt bother running radar on your bike. And if you did, there's really no point as alot of jurisdictions have switched over to lidar. In which case you'll need a laser jammer. I haven't kept up with it for the past 2 years but 2 years back laser interceptor was the best jammer out there.

But then again why does anyone need it for a bike? Most cops don't bother with "non sports" bikes.

This.

I disagree.
Here's the good example of how to properly use "rabbit" AND detector.

To OP,
if you don't have that much knowledge and experience in the world of "counter measuring", I 'd suggest to read this page first. (Rule #1, know your enemy).

Then, decide which detector to use (choose your weapon).

Then, you can start playing with the idea of stealth mount.

A lot of people get kick  out of beating the speed trap. They spend time and money (for the equipment, for research). If  you are looking for a simple solution to avoid speeding ticket, installing radar detector may not be right for you.
