Yeah, it may seem stupid to us for these people to carry all of these crazy things on their scooters, but it's the norm in countries in Asia. They don't have any other form of transportation. It's not uncommon to see an entire family on one scooter. No helmets, no gear of any kind.

It's a fair fact to note, the guy hauling ducks or the guy hauling a scooter probably would use a pickup truck if they had one, given their situation, they are being really resourceful (even if hauling that scooter is wildly unsafe).  The guy with the roller blades and the dudes with the stroller still get a wtf though.

In some countries they cart around 7 or 8 propane bottles... and fog malathion down the sidewalks (not at the same time, obviously).

 Speaking of carrying things, I once carried a heavy duty radiator for a Ford pickup truck on my Moto Guzzi 850 T3. It rested on the right side driver footpeg, with bungies across the top of the bike. My right foot was on the top of the gearbox.
