Nice, but I can remove the accompanied POS nozzle and free pour via a funnel. Or is that dangerous, too? Barring any open flame, cigarette, fireworks, magnifying glass directing sunlight towards the tank opening, etc.

I, too, hate the newer mandated "vapor control" nozzles.  They leak like a sieve.  On my "to purchase" list are official OSHA-approved cans.  They're more expensive, but they're much better engineered than the crap at the hardware store.

So fed up with getting diesel all over the place when I need to fill up the tractor...    I'm gonna be ordering one of those Type II's for gas and a yellow one for diesel.

A few years ago after my Dad passed away I was cleaning out his airplane hangar and found several "old school" plastic flexible spouts for 5+ gallon gas cans. All new in their packages. Guess my Dad could see the writing on the wall with the new "safety spouts" and stocked up while he could. So I am set for life... got that going for me.

That's not expensive...that's ridiculous.

Unfortunately, that's the cost of doing business in the certificated world. <shrug>  If you are using gas cans for business, you are required to use OSHA-approved hazardous material containers.  If you drive around with them, they're supposed to be both OSHA and DOT approved.

Think those cans are expensive, try shopping for a metal "flammable material" cabinet.  It's a yellow-painted metal tool cabinet, but they want $1000 and up for those bloody things.
