When I quote movies to coworkers and they look at me quizzically.  Then I realize that I watched that movie before they were born.

Or explain what these were for.

Or explaining the why skis used to look like the ones on the left.
Again, seeing fads come back into fashion. Oh, and explaining that things were once made in the USA. If you'll notice the ones on the right....yeah made in China.

I'm not a very cunning linguest but I can not figure why every thing today from the youngsters is "He, like, did this" "Like, I went to the store" "Like, I can't believe that she doesn't like me." Like, do you know what I mean? Please Like this post if you agree.

teaching a class on personal safety and reminding the class not to use 8675309 as a pin or pw. Half the class did not get it. Sad thing is, people of a certain age use really use that number for pins and passwords.
