Suspension Setup

I recently bought an M1000S (2-way adjustable rear, 3-way adjustable front) used and want to start tweaking the suspension settings for my weight and riding.  The owners manual is a little bit vague and of course only says how to make the adjustments, no recommendations.

I am wondering if there is a good HOWTO out there, or some other site that might have info on how to set up a Monster?

Also, I am in SoCal (OC), if anyone knows of a shop I can take it that would spend an hour or whatever with me helping me get it dialed in to a good starting point, please let me know!
