I can get you a yellow lab for a LOT cheaper than that.

Maybe the dog has some highly specialized training.

Or perhaps he got the dog *and* the display refrigerator for 2500.

If the dog can do that whole see-saw and ring of fire thing?

I got that yellow dog for free. But She recently cost my $600 at the vet so Im not sure if it was such a good deal after all.

Okay, new installment in the killer deal list.

Already have it in hand.

Cleaned it up a little today and poked around to size up exactly how good my deal was...  turns out it was exceptional.

Details tomorrow when it's light out and I can snap some pictures to share.

;D

Seriously gonna be like that, huh?

Well? Tomorrow was yesterday...

Yeah,  but yesterday I was having too much fun hanging out with the in-laws to go do any of the things I needed to do.

So now, yesterday is today.

Anyway, here it is...

Pulled it out of the woods, stuck a battery and some fuses in it, bolted up the starter that was jammed in on top of a motor mount, pressure washed off years of dirt and mildew, and it fired right up, shifts great and runs down the road as smooth as can be.

Nice. What about the wood rat nest on top of the engine?

Funny you should mention that.

When my buddy told me about it and that it'd been sitting for a long time, the first thing I said was "how big of a rat orgy does it look like there was in it?"

To my amazement, the only thing I found was a nest that had been built in an airbox upstream of the air cleaner that acts as a muffler for the intake system.

Not bad. No wires chewed or nothing eh?

Nope.

No signs of chewing anywhere.

Killer deal!

I'm happy for you :)

Thank you!

As you know, scoring that kind of deal feels pretty awesome.

I started shooting some factory match rattle can paint today to spiff it up a little bit. I'll post another picture when that's all done.  [thumbsup]

Monsterlover

Oh I know ;D

It's hard to pass up a running vehicle for that money. Even if you don't need a truck you could have a lot of fun in the woods with it for three hundred :D

Great buy!  With it having the 350 and 700R4 you could even sell off the driveline parts and come out way ahead!
