Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe.

i guess i need to figure out a night and an amount of bacon wrapped shrimp kabobs, steak, and some grilled squash (patrick specific) to cook. since i dont drink a whole lot i can at least cook once for everyone. i figure about half like hot and spicy and about half prefer homemade rub. i'll figure it out just gotta think on when to prepare food and when to cook it.

I should be able to provide you with the shrimp and bacon for these.  I should be able to get some par cooked bacon in that will make cooking them easier...seems that works best when wrapping shrimp.  The shrimp are 21/25 P&D tail off so they are a good size for wrapping with bacon.

Now cut the back of the shrimp open and put a little sliver of jalapeno in there before wrapping with bacon....YUMMY!

hey all! sorry for the delay but I've been in NM for a family event and the interweb is a bit primitive 'round these parts.... put me down for the camp cabin - with all that money i save not having a kitchen or bathroom I can buy us some booze or steaks or somethin'!

wow i am all kinds of excited for this!!!  ;D

when did we get  [bacon]??

O.K. folks, please check the first post in this thread - it's got MOST people in cabins.  There are still several people without a place to stay (Bill, Maria, DesmoLu and Jesus) but there are still plenty of cabins available in the area where everyone else will be staying.  I'm waiting on the details from Koyote Ranch and will update the list as soon as I get cabin numbers for the additional cabins I have requested.

If anyone has specific... um, concerns  about where they're sleeping, please PM me - none of this is etched in stone.  I would hate to get down there, though, and be short on sleeping space  [bang]

Thanks,

Lisa

Lisa, I just read the note you have for the big cabin... The cabin will sleep 7 (6 beds and 1 futon)  if any other are wanting to stay cheap and sleep in the big cabin they'll need an air mattress for the kitchen or the upstairs

Thanks Bryant.  I just got off the phone with Aja (sp?) and she told me the same thing.  I've got another update coming in just a sec...

Lisa,
I think you made a mistake.  You put me and Bon-wilder in the handicap cabin.  Should you maybe utilize this for one of the more "seasoned riders"   [cheeky]
JK!!!  after a day of riding on a sbk I think you will definately see me using the wheelchair ramp!

hmmmm......did he just say he'd be on a sbk?

Alrighty then!  I've updated the latest and greatest Guest List/Cabin situation on the first post.

IT HAS CHANGED.

I've added two new cabins and shuffled 4 or 5 folks around to better utilize all the new space.  Please PM me with any changes you would like to make.

Also, in talking with Aja this afternoon, at the moment we only have "holds" on every cabin other than #26 (I put a one night's deposit on that one to actually reserve it.).

Aja recommended that there be one "Cabin Captain" per cabin who could call her and leave a one night's deposit  and reserve the cabin in their name (they're all on "hold" under my name now) so the cabins will otherwise not be rented out before we get there.  Y'all will need to work it out who is the "Designated Cabin Captain" in each cabin.
