Well, I cheated and just used a box mix.  Poured 30% of it in the pan and spread it out then layered in kitkat's that I broke in half.  Arranged in rows so the brownies can be cut brownie-sized without disturbing the KK's

my stepdaughter made some of these a few weeks back from a recipe she got off of Pinterest....let them cool so you can get the most of the crunch factor...
