Ducati is the pretty girl that can't walk in heels without stumbling. I still love her.

Maybe they should just run all the 'races' on engine test-beds, sans bodies and tracks, as it seems the sheer number and variety of constraints have become a bit absurd.

What a joke. Not only limiting the fuel load (which is stupid), but also limiting the actual instantaneous flow of fuel. WTF.

It would have been nice to see Magnussen, you know, actually RACE for second place...except he was too low on fuel to have a go.  [bang]

Nevermind the issue of the homologated fuel flow sensors maybe not working correctly! Red Bull claims the sensors were faulty...F1 says too bad, make our adjustments anyway, even if they put you at a disadvanage. Pro wrestling anyone??

Pretty cool, but still, F1 is one order of magnitude less fun than MotoGP  [coffee]

Not sure I agree with that. If things go back to the same parade laps we saw last year in MotoGP, then F1 will definitely be more exciting. I believe that pit stops add another element to races. Your team has to be as good as the driver if they expect to win. MotoGP is a sprint, while F1 is a half marathon.

F1 is interesting for the strategy and drama...not for the racing. Usually after the 1st 5-10 laps, the actual wheel to wheel racing is over, and it becomes a battle of pit crews and strategy.

The new engines are interesting, but the rules are f'ing pathetic. At least in MotoGP if a rider is in striking distance near race end then they can go for the position. In F1 it seems most of the time they have to just sit there, due to lack of fuel, worn tires, engine wear concerns, etc. Lame.

Isn't this why they installed the power boost system? It's a separate engine (electric) to reduce the stress on the engine and make it more reliable. I remember 2 years ago in MotoGP, the person leading into the first corner would simply win the race. MM changed that last year and hopefully will continue this year. At least in F1 the pitstops do act as an equalizer.
