Private Instruction?

I'll be taking the MSF Basic Rider's Course in just under a couple of weeks and provided I pass (No. I will pass. I will pass dammit!) I was wondering if any of you know where I might be able to get some additional instruction privately should I decide that I'd like to work on my skills further in a professionally supervised environment (outside of track days, but those are on my mind too  ;)).

Unless of course one of our veteran riders would like to come up and spend some time with me  ;)

I will of course have Tony to ride with, but I am leery of the whole learning from my significant other thing. Sometimes a neutral third party is the better choice.

I'm guessing it would probably just be best to talk to my instructor about this to find out what, if anything, is available locally but I thought I would ask here as well since I know there are a number of knowledgable individuals among our ranks.

Edit - Forgot to mention, I'm in central Maine so something in ME/NH would be what I'm looking for.

It's not a matter of worry. It's simply a matter of wanting to have the opportunity to work on my skills in a supervised environment if I feel that's what I need so I'm safer and enjoy myself more on the street.

Come on over.

What you really should do is attend a track school.

You can learn more there than any of us dweebs can teach you.   ;)

Why do roaches always die on their back?

That because the survivors flip them over to steal their sneakers and wallets.

That would be awesome!

I'm already bugging Tony about doing a Fishtail day with me next spring. If he doesn't want to, I'm going to drag him down anyway and make him my pit pregnant dog  [laugh] Would have been great to do the one in September but I don't think I'll be able to pull it all together before then (entry fee, leathers, comfort level on the bike... blah blah silly excuses, I know).
