Moving back to FL. Got screwed with tenants and stupid HOA. Will be selling this property ASAP so that I don't have to deal with the craziness.

Most likely. The eldest is in middle school and we're definitely not moving after he starts high school.

I will never deal with an HOA ever again! In Maryland they have no legal obligation to provide the basic services that are in the agreement, but the homeowner is fully responsible to pay all fees in same agreement. So says the courts. [puke]

HOA's are the suck, but they do serve a purpose.

I don't have any experience with any HOA's.
What are the pro's and con's?
I read about one where they didn't want you working on your bike in your own garage!
