Pretty much everyone saw the similarities, but the shell in this case really does take a back seat to the gigantic motor.

The sound dispels the notion that the H2 will be turbocharged, as the there is not audible indication of a blowoff valve between shifts.

What that chirp is, Kawasaki is leaving us to speculate. To our ears, it sounds like the bike is breaking traction on a dynamometer â€" a sign that the Kawasaki H2 could be a torque monster. Is there the whine of a supercharger mixed in there as well? That’s for your ears to decide."

I think I would disagree with A&R here... sounds like a blow-off valve to me. 

That should indicate a centrifugal supercharger (as opposed to a positive displacement type) given the lack of exhaust routing for a turbo.

I know it's been said but why are all these bikes looking like some sort of Cylon/Robotech thing?

Can't stand the look of the thing, and it's nearly 3 times the power I need to go down the highway. Other than that I'm sure the tail light works great and my grandma would probably approve of the thing.

There has already been a bill sponsored in the senate to put mandatory restrictions on motorcycles sold in the United States. Stuff like this, cool as it might be, is exactly the kind of thing that will force the issue.
