Need mounting suggestions plz; oil cooler bracket for Pantah finned valve cover

Would love to have something as classy as Monsta's shown here:



But unfortunately I'm nowhere near handy enough.  [bang]

The half baked idea I have floating around my head involves a pair of tube screw spacers + longer bolts + ???...maybe, little L brackets at the top of each one, with the rubber shock absorber/sandwich mounts screwed into either side.

I fear this will wind up as wasted money and frustration at best, potentially hazardous to my health Macgyver on crack at worst. In other words look like shit then proceed to kill me or cut my balls off.

Any bright ideas?

I did the horn mount. Still room for valve adjustments without having the cooler hang around.
M620 turned M800 but then back to M620 after the M800 died at 110k, and now to Multi 1000.

I did one for my S2R, I dont have any pictures, but it was pretty straight forward. use all hardware store parts and looks purpose made (instead of like something cobbled together from hardware store bits)

I used some well nuts with the same thread pitch as the OEM rubber dampers have, pressed those into a cut down piece of stainless tubing then put P-clamps around that and mounted them to the valve cover. I used small spacers I found in my tool kit so that the p-clamps would sit flush so they could be torqued down without dimpling the clamp.

all the flexible rigidity of the OEM mount, probably cost about 10$.

Hmm...not bad! Actually seems that the p-clamp could go around the rubber mount directly without any need for the stainless tube. So by spacers, you mean small washers under the clamp and bolt head, and inside the recessed part where the valve cover bolts down?

Ok, after contemplating some of your suggestions, I think what I'll do is:

Short stainless M6 spacers, maybe M6x16 in each front mounting hole with longer bolts and the loop/p-clamps affixed at the tops. The spacers will allow the bolts to torque down properly. The loop clamps will attach to standoffs (threaded spacers) and the rubber shock absorbers aka "sandwich mounts" will screw into those.

I'm sure you've seen the bike I'm building, and it's pretty obvious I know what my limitations are. Nothing fugly is going on that machine.

yeah...  like to help, but unfortunately I would have to charge ridiculous money to make it worthwile!
barely get time to work on my own bikes these days!   :(

Try is that way, but I think you need the tube between each mount to keep the cooler properly in place.  The coolers are aluminum and pretty fragile, with the oil going through them and the forces at play with riding the bike I dont think it will be rigid enough without it.
