Does anyone know what it would take to fit a set of 999 forks on a 695 2007?

If anything at all!!?

53mm top triple (from 50mm), shim the lower triple 1mm (from 54mm) since the forks are 53mm top and bottom.
And space the calipers 5mm closer or the rotors 5mm out.

And you'll need a front fender as well.

I did a 749 front on a 620. There may be a few more intricacies, I'm quoting from memory.
M620 turned M800 but then back to M620 after the M800 died at 110k, and now to Multi 1000.

This looks like a do-able and fairly affordable fork upgrade

Now to find a decent set of 999 forks on fleabay
