Possible far reaching consequences for so many sports.

Not to mention the global economy.

International sports organizations are generally very near sighted. Considering the cost of traveling and moving a very large amount of equipment, they should plan ahead for things like natural disasters and corona viruses. Contingency plans

Tourist businesses here have already folded.

We'll have to see what the shorter and modified calendar looks like.

Unless things settle down in the next 2 weeks, I see them taking a month off before heading to the US.

Qatar is cancelled, not postponed, which is disappointing since the Ducatis generally do very well there. With the Thai GP postponement, HRC now has an extra month to focus on fixing the issue with front end feel  :'(

Yes.

But they have zero testing available with contracted (fast guys) riders.
So they'd be taking a massive gamble on engine or aero changes.

No modification goes unpunished. Memento mori.  Good people drink good beer.  Things happen pretty fast at high speeds.

It's all up to your will level, your thrill level and your skill level.  Everything else is just fluff.

If anything they should move all the Asian races to early in the season. I think the only issue would be with Japan, since it can get very cold in the spring.
