I got the grips and mirros.

1)  question for you guys.

The grips, they rizoma appear to lack this 2nd groove to hold the grip in place to the throttle tube. I am sure this groove is for holding; using the throttle tube to hold the grip in place is a bad ideas as you want it to be free to move/frictions besides the throttle cable.

Any insight?

the second piece of black plastic might be the answer but I highly doubt it as it does not fit in an appropriate location and when placed inside the throttle tube it causes too much friction.

Thanks

hope the pic posts

2) How to adjust the mirrors from the ball end (first picture)? I see no screw to loosen them up, adjust, and then re-tighten. I am affraid that if I adjust them then over time they will get loose if there is no screw to adjust. Also, peculiarly as can be seen in the pics, the hex screw holding the mirrors to the bracket had locktite, you can see a little of the blue powder as I loosed that screw to reposition the mirrors. Does rizoma use locktite on new mirrors? Why would they if they are to be loosed up to adjsut?

the first pic shows the ball joint/crew that will not budge easily and has no loose/tighten adjuster.

Thanks and hope you all had great holidays and I am waiting to hear from vendor for above questions.

I don't know why Ducati makes these with an extra ridge - maybe so the pull is not directly on the cam - why is still unknown...

The Rizoma throttle is kept in place by one outer and one inner ridge - should be plenty. Some people have been complaining about the plastic cams not being very long lasting. Keep an eye on it when you open it to lube it.

My Rizomas never moved by themselves on the ball joint [thumbsup]

I like the feel of the Rizoma grips but that's it. I've had throttle return issues since installation. Just that last 5% that won't quite hit idle.

Hmm? That is too bad; shouldn't happen. I guess you have checked through it from TBs to the grip end? I've used them on two different bikes and have never had a problem.

No issues with the mirror ball joints.  They are a little stiff to adjust, but stay exactly where you put them.  I can't comment on the throttle, as mine was already on the bike when I bought it.  Works fine though.

thanks for the reply guys,

I am still waiting on my shorai battery replacement so have not ridden the bike with the mods.

As far as I can tell, the throttle grip returns and has full cam movement.

the Mirrors looks great and seem sturdy. GLad readjustments might not need retightning of the ball joint.

Next up is what levers on brake and clutch to use.

I am looking for black with red accent grips. Debating ASV C5 or F3 vs CRG...

Ducabike I heard might need modding to fit into handle bar fitment ( i dont mind modding but if I am paying for a product a pretty penny I expect a good design, hence the lack of tighning on the ball of the Rizoma is dissapointing)

if you guys have suggestions, shoot away.

It's carbs. Stiff as s&*t anyways. If I can find my rem-oil I use on my rifles it no longer be trouble. No grease works as well as that stuff.
