Which Wet Slipper is Best? Ducati Performance, EVR or Sigma Performance

I can get all 3 for about the same money right now except the DP would be new while the others would be used. What would you do?
I'm leaning towards DP because 1. It's new 2. I'm considering the Ducabike Clear Cover and the EVR is just ugly Magnesium so no point in showing it off.

Which bike? Don't all of the ones in your signature (except the Sport Classic) have a slipper already?

Personally, I wouldn't waste my money on a slipper clutch for a street bike.

The ModFather

It is for the Sport Classic and honestly after being used to the slipper on the other two bikes the engine braking and rear wheel lock ups during rapid downshifting are a bit unnerving if not simply annoying. I guess I'm spoiled. Plus I'm told it will make the clutch pull a bit easier as well which the Sport Classic could certainly use. (I already swapped out the clutch slave for an Oberon BTW). Plus Plus - I just messed up my clutch cover and went ahead and replaced it with the DucaBike Clear so a better looking clutch would be ideal. I'm leaning towards the DP at this point as the Sport Classic is Red.

I'd go for new, and which one looks better...so sounds like the DP one. They should all work well enough for street use.

Why not? Also the 620 has an APTC clutch, not really a true slipper.

Not a true slipper, but close enough. They're nice, I just wouldn't spend the money for the street personally. Let the clutch out slow and achieve the same thing. I don't see where street pace justifies the expense I guess.

I have an APTC on my Duke, and an STM dry clutch slipper on the 859. Huge difference in how they act.

Very true!  ;D

No doubt they act different. I've owned street bikes with no slipper, slipper, and Ducati APTC clutch. Never thought the slipper was all that important for the street.

In fact...I kinda liked the dry clutch on my old MTS...good fun locking up the rear at stop lights in the rain.   [beer]
