Are Ducati Seat Lock assemblies interchangeable between models?

Lost the seat lock on my Sport 1000 I see a lot of Monster Seat Locks on ebay and wondering if they'd fit. Obviously it would need to be re-keyed or have the tumblers removed but from a fitment standpoint could I just use one of those? Sport 1000 specific parts are bit harder to come by on FleaBay compared to Monster Parts.
