And this is the reaction of a Canes fan that does not have the context of watching the teams ranging from the 80s to the early 2000s. I'm unfortunate to know better, to have seen those team play, and to be desperately disappointed every year that Al Golden remains a head coach of UM.

Fun part of working for a company based out of Columbus is I work with and for a bunch of Buckeye alums and we actually have some very good conversations...but the NIU game was a very contentious subject.

To tell you the truth, there are better candidates out there, but very few that would be willing to take the job considering how this whole Al Golden situation was handled, the fact that UM has no access to decent facilities and the amount of $$$ the university would be willing to pay for a good coach. Butch might just be the only candidate.
