Google employees don't have time to date.

He's also not the only one doing it.

Average one bedroom apt rent in SF is $3500/month.  :o
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

I've "known" homeless dudes to live in self storage containers, gated community and all. Paid about $25/month.

Many years ago I had a storage unit in downtown San Diego. If you went towards the end of the day, it was common to see homeless people signing in so they could go to their units for the night.

Can't go on forever -- local law prohibits sleeping in a car as a residence even if it's on private property.  And I can't believe Google is OK with this -- what a bad thing to be public.  "Our employees can't afford to live near us"

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

i don't think so.   I think it's set up with ILITs and those have to be owned by an irrevocable trust.

anyhow, i can't imagine Google is cool with an employee sleeping in a box truck in their lot for more than a week or two..  seems fishy.
