Don't those have to be made of wood?? ;)

I don't know what the rules are on those, but I know AR receivers don't qualify.   I wish.

So what's the deal with getting a Concealed Handgun License?  Does anyone here have one and what all was involved?  Was/is it worth it?

We've got two handguns that we were big into about 13 years ago (put 'em totally "away" when Sam was born); now Alan and I are interested in getting back into the "hobby" so this thread is especially timely  ;D

Personally, I don't think you should need govt approval to carry a sidearm. That being said, I finally accepted reality and did the class so I could be official. The class is really well done and all reasonably intelligent citizens should carry. That would really make the criminals think twice.

Yes, I can see how a thread about a broken rib and needing some muscle to help mod a bike could be helpful getting people back into handguns.  [thumbsup]

Could someone possibly spin this discussion off onto it's OWN thread, PLEASE!

It has very nice "stuff" on it.
I'm not a big fan of that paintjob... but it might look a little different in person.

Threadjack in progress! Whoever that dude is in McKinney tried to sell that same bike several months ago on ebay motors but it had a "buy it now" price of something like $40-50K. Didn't get hardly any reasonable bids and it disappeared. It lives again, now for much less. It's a little over the top for me. :P
