$260 is not a bad deal, right?

What do you guys think about that on a 696..I feel like the current headlight is to wide, I like this minimalistic look a lot better.  Feel free to post any other suggestions.

CDawg how hard was that to wire? Is it just a plug and play or is more required? Any other pics you might have would be appreciated thanks  [thumbsup]

Wiring: It was pretty close to plug and play.  Mine had minor wirign issue which I cannot remember if it was their mistake or my mistake.  I had to wire in the parking bulb to the LEDs and I had to fiddle the hi/lo wires, but frankly I could have been the one that screwed it up by playing with it woo much

Brackets: I retained the stock bracket and added (makeshift) spacers from Home Depot.

looks like the lighting part of the acerbis cyclops headlamp without the mask. What is the power output of this unit?Does it compare with the stock lamp or exceed it.I found the cyclops unit to be weak.I live in an area where there are no streetlights and deer/elk/wildlife is common at night.Must see before I plough into something.
Please advise.

Materially brighter than stock.  I don't know the wattage off hand.  I don't ride at night much, but with the low and the high can be both turned on at the same time for good light.  If you live near wildlife, I would also consider going HID which is the brightest option right now.  The Hesa is halogen.

What will you do for the indicators on the 696? Handle bar lights? I think the headlight swap will look sick! Good luck!

Where is the HID one available?

CDAWG, how is the cutoff/patten on the halogen light unit?  Might be cheaper just to buy that and retrofit it w/hid if the cutoff is sharp.

Then again, you could buy this:

And retrofit a nice HID w/projector in there.

looks like htere already is a projector  lens in there.

Does anyone get this trend...

Stock round healight = huge fly
stacked ontop = alien (i think of command and conquer 3, the scrin's walking thingys)
Side by side aka duals = the simpsons eyes.
Duals with angel eyes = an actual fruit fly

yep, but just like a reflector housing that projector is aimed for halogen bulbs.  although projectors ussually dont suffer from horrible glare as much as reflector housings when you stick a hid bulb where it aint supposed to be. :D
the other question, cuz i like the looks of this thing, where will i hide all those wires my stock headlight is hiding now. haha.
