Yeah, it can be turned off.

Yes, it's faster. The 7 will be even faster with the A10 chip. Messaging is way user friendly, and just moving your phone lights it up without hitting any buttons.

Yep, much faster. Lots of cool new features. And I went back to a regular size. Done with the plus. Battery life better as well,  it's at 30% right now (it's been about 12 hours) and would normally have had to hook it up to a charger by now.

I hope they put that dual camera in the 7s next year. Or maybe in a iPad. The plus sized phones are just too big for phones, but not big enough to be a tablet.

Ahh. You can delete stock apps now.

While you can delete them, in reality it's only really hiding them from view. Apple has stated that the stock apps only take up approximately 150mb worth of space and that deleting them altogether would cause problems with the firmware.

For me, it has been sucking down the power and also not reporting current battery levels correctly...

I never have battery issues, but I turn off everything  I'm not using.

My 6 is working fine. I tend to keep Bluetooth turned off and that saves the battery quite a bit.

I can try that. Just need to remember to turn it back on before I get back on the bike. I have the Sena Bluetooth headset...

Well. There's your battery draw.  I keep all of it off unless I'm using it, bluetooth, wifi, close out all apps etc etc.
