I'm waiting for a pair of AGV leather pants to show up (soon I hope) but have been wondering if anybody has worn those long underwear things with armor from tpro under jeans or are the just for under leathers?

Thanks

I've worn mine under jeans without problem - although I've taken out the thigh pads as they just seem unnecessary.

Before I got leathers I wore the Adventure pants under jeans. I would imagine they are similar to the T-Pro. Plenty of 1/4 " foam padding in lots of important places and CE Armor in the Knee/ Shin area.

Now that I have leathers I feel much safer from abrasion and the Knee/ Shin armor seems much more protective plus the perfed ones give needed warm weather relief.

I've been thinking of getting a pair of those and have also looked at the Aerostich website ($$$) . I've haven't seen much talk of the roadcrafter suit for just riding around back and forth to work. I've seen a couple of people with them. Anybody with FHE with them?

Thanks for the replys, I'd like to gear up better and don't want a bunch of gear that isn't useful.
thanks again

Having them on is sure better than no armor at all.  No matter the speed of the crash, they will help take the initial hits.  If the amour isn't protected by abrasion resistant stuff, it might not be as helpful for any secondary or more more impacts since it stands a better chance of being damaged.

A couple folks around here have road crafters and like them a lot.  A bit hot for summers around here in the mid Atlantic but great the rest of the year.  They also offer you the ability to not be forced into looking like a power ranger if you ride to some other event.  Couple zips and you can be in your jeans and shirt that you had on under your fully armored road crafter in seconds
-Throttle's on the right, so are the brakes.  Good luck.

I've been thinking of combining the Forcefield Pro pants with something like the Dainese Fantan or Esquad Jeans. But the perforated leather pants probably cost less and offer better protection. Comfort will probably be a tossup.

I ride two n half miles to work most of the year and am thinking a one piece like Yuu up above ,is talking about. I know I won't wear the pants to work and am just pondering my next gear purchase.

+1 on the Stich.  I don't have one (yet), but lots and lots of people I know wear them to work (I work at the Harley product development center, and no, not everyone rides a Harley... plenty of Ducs and Beemers and what have you in the parking lot  [beer])

Anyway, everyone I've talked to loves it; you can wear anything you want under it and be in or out of the suit in a couple seconds.  My boss claims they're not bad in hot weather either.

The two piece suit seems to be the way to go though since you can just wear the jacket, plus you might have a hard time cramming the one piece in your washing machine!
