If you are buying another set of clocks for it to be able to be cloned then both dashboard circuit boards need to be white.
They do one and green boards my new clocks are green so couldn't get my clocks done. This was from a company I found while trying to find my own solution.

Thank you Adam, yes I'm aware of it sorry I didn't mention for future readers. Is it Mark Ts... something? Might be the same guy/company I've emailed ;)

How did you sort your problem in the end?

I'm not sure I will dig out the email.
I've not sorted it lucky it's just a on going project I brought cheap off a friend who dropped it and smashed front light faring and clocks. So I just pull it out shed and do bits when got time/money. Other than a new battery clocks are only thing left to do and a good clean where been sat up on paddock stands.Clocks not working annoyed me so it been buried in shed again (seller told me I could code them in with red key which found out to be not true).
I emailed a couple of companies that said they can remove from ECU but none bothered to reply think from website it 150-200 to have done so by time add on cost of second hand clocks nearly the same as new clocks.
So I've now followed your link and going to show my mate who into computer programming and see if he happy to do this if I buy the leads. I don't do computers can see myself doing more damage.
Never realized costs of clocks or would of just broke it up straight away. But too far in now.

Yes it was marktsang from info@scorpio-electronics.co.uk
Seems a helpful bloke but unfortunately couldn't help me

Nice one I'm waiting for a final reply from Mark and think I'm gonna send my dash to him.

There's a company that can remove immo and upload new mpa for £149 - http://www.avantiraceparts.co.uk/page.php?id=34

Otherwise you can do it yourself with TuneEcu, good luck! I might be doing it myself too.

If you have a code card you can bypass immo by the way!

I found a post on another forum, a bloke had similar issue with the mileage being displayed as -----

QuoteA phone call to Mark at Scorpio Electronics (Google for details) and the instrument cluster was removed and posted to him - it seems as if the memory had been corrupted somehow, but he was able to retrieve the actual mileage and everything now works as it should - hurrah!

A decent turnaround time and a fair price too; usual disclaimer - I have no connection other than being a satisfied customer.

This is very promising, I'll be sending my dash to him!

I tried the throttle twist thing but no joy. But that was with the new clocks on so that might of been why wouldn't crank.
Or should you if say it has 2 in the code let light flash on and off twice or when 2nd light comes on pin the throttle. I went for once I saw 2nd light pulled throttle

Not sure if it's supposed to work with different dahsboard.

I do it every day and it works. If your first number is two, let it flash twice and wait until light dissapears, then twist the throttle before it flashes third time. Light will stay on for like 4 seconds and will start blinking again - repeat for next 4 digits.

I've just ordered these cables and bought an app. I'm gonna remove the immo and upload new fuel map myself. Also I'll send dashboard to Mark, will call him soon to sort it out.

Howie

The code is only good foe the previously mated components.

I downloaded DP fuel map and played around with TuneECU yesterday. This app is amazing!

By the look of it I can adjust the idle which I wanted to do for a very long time as my bike idles at below 1000. In fact, I can adjust idle in relation to the temperature, which means I'll set it to 1500 or maybe more until it warms up (50+ degrees), then 1250. Why didn't ducati do that in first place? There's no need to use cold start lever if ECU is capable of automating that.

The immobiliser can be deactivated simply by ticking it off in options. TPS can be reset.

There are loads of other options. This app is simply amazing (assuming it works).

I'll get on with it this weekend, fingers crossed!

It's availible in google play store for your android device. Before you buy, make sure this app is compatible with your bike/ecu - check on tuneecu.net

Cheers looks like app don't do my bike

Here's an update:

I succesfully removed immobiliser using TuneECU app. I've also uploaded DP fuel map and reset TPS. One thing I couldn't do is the idle. It always idles at 1000rpm no matter what I set it to in the ECU. Any advice?

I've posted my dashboard to Mark @ Scorpio Electronics, hopefully he can fix the mileage. I can ride the bike with no dashboard as immo is disabled. Indicators don't work but I'll only ride from/to work - 1.5miles each way, no turns [laugh]
