  thought this might be of interest to some 696 owners around here. Since i am still waiting for bike delivery on the hunt for stuff
and was looking for an alternative to the oem bag systems. nothing listed on there sight ,so i emailed them for info...http://www.ventura-bike.com/

This bike is not available to us yet but as soon as it is we will looking at making a system for it. Once we have completed the prototype work and have them in production we will post it on our website. At this time I'm unable to give you a scheduled date but rest assured we will be doing it as soon as possible.
